Ms. Li has taught at Shanghai International Studies University. She was admitted to bar in 1990. In early 1990s, apart from teaching at the SISU, she represented many clients in marriage, inheritance and criminal cases. She later worked at Shanghai Representative Office of a U.S. company and was responsible for the foreign investment projects and legal works in Shanghai. From 1994 to 2004, Ms. Li devoted herself to the development of Pudong New Area and worked at Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park for ten years. In seven years, she was responsible for the legal matters at Zhangjiang Group, and she successfully handled a crisis of huge-amount guarantee crisis. She has abundant experience in company laws and real estate development. She was responsible for project approval at the Project Division of the Steering Group of Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park. She has thorough understanding of startup, incubation, financing and listing of small and medium-sized technology companies and is familiar with the laws and approval procedures concerning the establishment, acquisition, and merger of foreign-invested enterprises, and has deep insight in the laws and practices of intellectual property protection. She provided legal services to small and medium-sized businesses and large real estate development companies in high-tech parks. She served as legal counsel for more than 20 technology startups and famous real estate companies, and handled a large number of economic disputes and intellectual property litigation cases. She was appointed as a member of the Pudong New Area Intellectual Property People's Mediation Committee in 2007 and became the director of the Committee in 2016.
